From modeling internationally for the houses of Givenchy and Trussardi, to appearing as a judge on America’s Next Top Model - 28 year old Rob Evans has come a long way since his days sparring at the Spit ‘n’ Sawdust gym in Oxfordshire, England.
Born in the UK, Rob was a semi professional boxer working on his craft when he was discovered in his gym by a photographer who was out location hunting. It was this chance meeting that would change the young boxer’s life forever.
Plucked from obscurity Rob was given the mind-blowing opportunity of walking in the Givenchy men’s show in 2011. Following the post-show buzz surrounding Rob, he was soon contacted by Bruce Weber for Self Service and Nick Knight for i-D/SHOWstudio before signing to Major Models in New York.
In 2012 Rob was cast alongside Tyra Banks and Kelly Cutrone as the newest Judge on Cycle 19 of America’s Next Top Model. Rob stayed with the show for two years.
Rob’s career has catapulted him to household-name recognition. He has graced the covers of internationally renowned magazines L’Officiel and Manifesto, and he appears regularly in editorial pages for i-D , D Section, Numero Tokyo and Vogue Hommes Japan.
He has worked alongside female supermodel counterparts such as Lara Stone, Rita Ora, Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroe, and also appeared in Madonna’s Girl Gone Wild music video!
With a skyrocketing career that would leave most people dizzy, Rob’s discipline, training and passion for his sport keeps his feet firmly on the ground, and his body honed for success.
