Courtney Dober is an Australian television presenter, producer, writer, director and host – in short, he can do it all.
Courtney is the host (and producer) of Kim and Courtney's Theory of Awesomeness. Created for Disney XD, the show brings science and extreme sports together.
Courtney also hosts many live events for Disney XD including the Nerf Challenge and the Disney & Lego ‘Star Wars’ May the Fourth event.
In 2014 Courtney produced, wrote and hosted his own talk show series Showcase TV for 7 Digital. He also hosted Works TV for the network.
A popular presenter, Courtney has also hosted segments for the Nine Network’s popular travel show Getaway, Fashion Asia for the ABC, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia for ARENA (2012) and a one hour MBFW special for Network TEN (2013). Courtney also hosted Fashion Festival for the Seven Network, the Rugby World Cup for QANTAS in 2011, and the FIFA World Cup in South Africa for SBS (2010).
As an MC/Host, Courtney recently Hosted Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere for HOYTS.
Whilst not on-air, Courtney is a highly sought after producer, most recently having produced content for the ABC and the Department of Foreign Affairs - Australian and Myanmar Relations.
Not just a presenter for television, Courtney has appeared on numerous radio shows including Kyle and Jackie O and co-host on Northside 99.3 FM community radio.
Never one to sit still, Courtney has also been working intensely behind the scenes to create his Design Company, Colober. Courtney also runs Galactic Media, his production company who specialise in creating video content for any clients need. Galactic Media is supported by a team of experienced professionals in TV production, online content, graphic design, animation, camera and audio operation, post production and more who work to deliver the perfect campaign message.
Along with his brother Jarrad, Courtney is also the CEO and co-founder of Clever Dux; Clever products for kids. Clever Dux is responsible for the creation of ‘Reminder Bands’; simple custom silicone wristbands that help thousands of kids remember where they are heading after school as well as wristbands for kids who suffer from Allergies, Asthma or Anaphylaxis. As the company expands, Clever Dux is now working towards the release of their educational toy range which is coming soon.
