“But the true scene stealer of this production is Erika Heynatz as silent movie film star, Lina Lamont, with a voice certainly not made for ‘talkies’. One ‘cain’t’ deny that she has the lovely Lina down pat. Her rendition of What’s Wrong With Me? in Act Two is just comedy gold.” – Brian Godfrey, GLAM Adelaide
“Lina Lamont, (Erika Heynatz) was excellent and had down pat the shrill, uncultured voice that makes this character one of the unfortunates that does not progress from silent to talkie movies. Her song in the second half, What’s Wrong With Me? as the gentleman sitting beside me said, sounded like strangled cats. Lina adds a comedy element, with her antics and pitiful screen acting. Erika was totally delightful in this role.” – Pauline Smith, Absolute Theatre
“Erika Heynatz excels as Lockwood's serial co-star Lina Lamont and has Jean Hagen's glass-cutter screech down pat.” – Jason Blake, SMH
“Erika Heynatz as Lina Lamont makes the infamous role her own – bringing her own flair and nuanced delivery of Lamont’s unique voice to the show; she’s the funniest thing about it.” – Bec Caton, AussieTheatre
“Particularly noteworthy is Erika Heynatz as the arrogant, dim-witted silent movie megastar, Lina Lamont. She is a downright side-splitting villain, setting a new standard for annoying, screechy Brooklyn accents.” – Maxim Boon, Limelight Magazine
“Erika Heynatz, who plays the role of bubble-head blonde bombshell Lina Lamont, is without a doubt, one of the pillars of the Australian Singin' In The Rain cast. Despite her statuesque beauty, Erika manages to whine out that unmistakable Bronx accent down to a tee. Erika carries the ego of Lina perfectly, and makes the audience laugh with her airhead antics.” – Kid Town Melbourne
For her appearances in film, Erika has worked with George Miller in a featured role requiring heavy prosthetic work on Mad Max: Fury Road. This role is in addition to strong performances in Gabriel, and L.A. Noire, the award winning cinematic game release from Sony PlayStation, which saw her working with the director of the critically acclaimed renowned Mad Men series.
